Haydock Finance appoints Iain Corbett as Sales Director

Haydock Finance, the independent Blackburn-based asset finance provider, has appointed Iain Corbett as Sales Director.

Corbett, who has some 30 years’ experience in the sector, joins from Clydesdale Bank, where he has spent the last four years leading and growing their asset finance business.

In his new role, Corbett will have responsibility for the full Haydock sales operation, including all broker and direct sales activities, as well as new business development.

Corbett said: “I have known the senior management of Haydock Finance for a long time and am genuinely excited at the prospect of joining the team. The business is very well established and has a fantastic reputation as a provider of asset finance to SME customers”.

He added: “‘Haydock’s fundamentals are rock-solid and, supported by things like the relationship we have with Secure Trust Bank and our highly capable staff base, I am really looking forward to helping drive the business through its next phase of growth and beyond”.

Haydock Finance was established in 1980 and as well as undertaking its own lending activities, the Company also operates a strategic partnership with Secure Trust Bank PLC where Haydock provide a full business process outsourcing service to the Bank’s clients. In the last twelve months, the Company has also reported a number of increases in wholesale funding facilities including British Business Bank, RBS, and various block discount providers.
